Testing

GT Rotary Cam Switch, Breaker Control Switch(BCS) and TFV Switch comply with the following standards:

IEC 947-3
IS 13947-3
EN 60947-3

Rotary Cam switch and BCS are type tested at ERDA(Electronics Research and Development Association), Baroda. TFV Switch is type tested at Austrian Research Institute, Vienna.

INPROCESS INSPECTION

1st piece inspection
Periodical inspection as per sampling plan
Self Inspection as per relevant procedure

FINAL INSPECTION

Visual inspection as per OEP(program number, name plate, technical specification, color of accessories, type of packing etc)

TESTING

ROUTINE TEST

Continuity test according to program sheet sequence
Di-Electric verification
Load test for some special switches

Temperature rise test
Mechanical endurance test
